Prof. K. S. Nataraj started his career in 1970. He retired as Professor and head of the Physics and Electronics departments. He was the first director of BVJ Science Centre and was instrumental in establishing the centre. As an avid science communicator and an able administrator, he has served as CEO and academic advisor of Karnataka Rajya Vijnana Parishat. He was a member of the KSTA for two terms and is closely associated with KSTePS. He has given a number of popular Science talks on AIR. His “ನಿತ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ”(Nitya Vijnana) series talks are being broadcast regularly now. He has co-authored “Vijnanada Heddariyalli mahathiruvugalu” and “Nammada dehada vijnana”. He is the co-translator of JD Bernal’s “Science in History”.
